Tonight marked an historic event. I fired up the linux client connected to a server, entered a channel and I had a chat with my other pc wich was running the windows client :) That was the first time voice data was sent between a windows and linux client!!
So, I have to fix a few remaining issues, make nice dialogs so people can choose other sound devices, and then i send it to a few aplpa testers.
For the ones that were wondering, only OSS is supported at this moment. Alsa users can still get sound when they enable OSS emulation.
So the linux client will definately be in RC2 :) I will try supply a text and GUI installer (the loki installer).
