1.) I've been having some probs with TS, since i installed Win98 now. MY sound card driver is installed correctly, and all that stuff, but when i enter TeamSpeak 2 RC2, it has laggy voices. Like at the start-up that woman saying:

Link engaged.

It sounds like this:

L------INK----------------EN---------GAAAA-----GED

Get it?

2.) And second, my microphone is always muted, and cannot be unmuted anyhow. I tested mic, in windows recorder, and it worked. But it is muted always.

First: Use another topic that describes your problem in short next time.

TeamSpeak has been optimized for Windows versions 2000 and XP. Windows 98 always has some problems, but in this case that's not the point.

This problem seems to be a driver problem. Even if it is installed correctly, it might be damaged or out of date, so the first step is almost always to download the latest driver from the manufacturers website.

Please ensure that you have the lastest driver before proceeding to the next steps.

Maybee playing with the TeamSpeak settings helps. This is the most common step and is a general advise for any kind of driver related problems. Go to Settings -> Options, try changing the "Sound Driver" from "Wave" to "Direct Sound" and vise versa. Also try to change Input and Output Device.

Important: If the "Direct Sound" Option is not available or the steps above don't help, you should ensure that you have the lastest DirectX (DirectX 9.x) installed. You can obtain it from evil Microsoft websites.

Good luck and please report back when your problem is solved or if you find useful informations that have not yet been posted on this board.

if your sound card is a "On board" sound card go to the make of your mother board and look for mother board updates !! a sound driver will be iin there as well as drivers for other functions of the main board !
