Teamspeak lags badly

I have recentley built a new PC, I have never had issues with TS before but now I lag. My speach breaks up really badly. I have a plantronics headset which has an in line sound card and a pretty high tech mic. My internet doesn't lag and I have my ts on direct sound with unlimited bandwidth. Can anyone help me please. :mad:

Have found that most Dial Up user do lag while in game! as far as Broadband/DSL no lag problems here In or Out of game( Everquest) BTW you could try adjusting your virtual memory..Shrugs

COOL unlimited bandwith !
So you have an unlimited gold mine right under your ass ;)

A few thing's I could imagine:
- set TS to high process prio
- try using WAVE
As you use a newly setup PC, look for recent drivers (sound, DirectX,...)
