Server Log in Issues

I am running my own Server on one of my three computers. I have many problems with tring to log on my server from one of my other two computers and it says : this person is already logged on this server.. well there is none even on the server or it really doesnt matter rofl cause i got my user name and password and it wont let me in... If I go thru the web server list and join using the server password. it will add a 1 to my user name and of corse says unregistered..example Spiritrez1(U) when i can log in it will say Spiritrez (R )(CA)(SA) meaning it is working... I had this problem on my wifes long ago some how she starting being able to log on and now I can not... What is cause this problem... I tried even changing my log in name, but no matter what name I use it still adds a 1 to it or if i register that name, it will say user is already logged in on this server....Please Help Me! I already fill like I have waisted to much time. I am a Everquest gamer and I have several people joining it without getting the problem I have... BTW all 3 computer are on WindowsXP and thru a HUB w/ separate Dynamic IP addresses!

How often does the error appear? All this time it seems
What did you do to resolve the problem? Tried to reset IP's tried new user names and old ones even tried my wifes on my computer, but works on hers.

is the server empty when you get the "1" behind your name ? do you have a client on one of the other pc's loged in ? maybe in a room you cant see from the default room ? try making a new (sa) for your server, call it something else but make it from the server icon / administration tab ! test that 1 !!

Well I tried that no luck... still showing a 1 after my name server is empty no open channels is just default channel. once again only able to get on it as Unregistered anon.. I appreciate your suggestion M&M ..

go to your server's admin log in for the server ! not your client log in , but the (sa) given to you with the install of thr server !! make a new user call it what ever you want "testname" make it a full sa and test it if it works you can use it .. also go in to the server usermanager deleat the old one you made befor that is not working now ! so the only one in there is the new 1 !! also when loging in to a server you need to place your user name in the nick name box regestared users must all so put user name and password in those 2 boxes as well !

if you dont want to post your name and ip of server "pm me it" i will log in and see if i get a 1 after my name or anything goofie ! and report it back to ya
