Game sounds too loud...Voice sounds too low

I am just trying out TS for the first time.

I am playing Star Wars Galaxies. When I connect TS, the in game sounds are really loud in comparision to other people's voices. I haven't found this topic in the forums.

Is there a way to reverse this (i.e., make the voices louder and lower the volume of the in game sounds) or at least mute the in game sounds without disrupting the voices.

Sure, just turn down the volume in your game. Simple as that. I do not have that game, but I am sure it is in the Options or Settings menu under "Sound."

OR

You could go into TeamSpeak and turn UP the voices. Get into a TS server, go to Settings --> Sound Input / Output Settings and at the very top you see a slider that is for Output Volume. Just slide that to the right and the voices will get louder without effecting the in game sounds.

Do both :)

Just a friendly 'heads up' - be careful when posting such an elementary help topic as this. I have no problem with giving people a hand, but something like this could have easily been solved by reading the manual, or in the case of turning down your game volume it is almost common sense... Just a warning. Guildi probably would have told you to A: post the thread in the right forum, and B: read the manual and FAQ's first ;)
