So is there a way to set a whisper to someone without leaving my game or not. The way I thought this worked was that somone could talk in my channel I could bind my last whisper to the person who just talked and then use this whisper untill I need to whisper to someone else.

Here is an example

Diligence broadcasts to everyone in our channel "Diligence setting up a whisper to Gluttony" (as long as no one is talking)
--I use the keybind for "Bind Last whisper to Preset 0" which should bind preset 0 to Diligence
-- Then use my keybind for "Whisper to Preset 0" to whisper to Diligence from now on

Or Does Diligence need to Whisper to me first?

If this is the case... Just a thought for the Devs this would be a useful thing for a lot of gamers

Diligence would have to whisper to you first. Then if you use the last whisper key, it will whisper back to him. If somebody else whispers to you, the preset will whisper to that person.

We use command channel whispers (CCWs) to make initial contact with other commanders in other channels. They establish contact over CCW, then they mutually bind each other for a private conversation. This cuts much of the cross-channel chatter.

FuZe (command channel whisper): "Dinker this is Fuze on CCW, do you copy?"
Dinker (binds last whisperer) : "Dinker here on direct whisper, go ahead Fuze"
FuZe : (binds last whisperer) : "Fuze now on direct whisper... etc"
