I have Fedora and the latest TS client. I can install the client fine, connect to a server fine but there is this gawd awfull background noise. The other clients sound cuts in and out like talking thru a slow fan. When I turn the latency scroll bar down the clicking and noise gets faster.

Its unusable like this. Am I doing something wrong?

Added: I did a sound card probe and Fedora selected the correct (I guess) driver but when I run the TS client I hear a pulsing clicks even half second or so making communications impossible.

What's your sound card?

Also what's the reported codec on the server?

Hey, i am having the same issue. i can connect to the server, i can hear the program talking saying "Joining channel" and other things... however its choppy with the clicking..

has ANYONE figured out what is going on here? the server i was conected to use the Spex codecs. i could hear people talking. just had the clicking in it. same probem with the slider bar... lower latency, more clicking.

:(

any help is appreaciated.
