Okay, I've look and haven't been able to find a fix for this issue...

I have a digital speaker set, so for my SBlive 5.1, so obviously I am using the digital out for the card. Previous to this digital set, i used regular speakers without the digital output.

My problem is this...

Using speakers through the digital out, I can not have the mice muted for playback while active for recording. Meaning, that if I want to use Teamspeak, I would have to also hear my voice through my speakers as I talk. That causes tons of feedback, and i really don't want to hear myself through my speakers anyway. using the card in non digital mode, I am able to mute the mic for playback and still be able to use teamspeak without having to hear myself over my speakers.

The only solution I've been able to come up for this, is to plug a set of headphones through my regular outs, and any time I want to use teamspeak, I'll have to turn the digital functions off and listen to everything through my headphones.

Does anybody reading this have a set of digital speakers, and is able to use teamspeak without having to hear yourself through your speakers?

And I have tried to KX driver set. I removed them fairly quickly because they were WAY over complex, and didn't seem to fix my issue anyway.

Under your advanced volume settings within windows, you need to mute microphone under the playback section, and select it under the record section.

Select Options > Properties > Playback/Recording > Click OK

That is precisly the problem. Using the analog outputs, that works for me.

Using the digital output for my speakers, muteing my mic for playback makes me unable to record through the mic.
