Sounds like a Helicopter

When using TS people say i sound like a heli copter or a lawn mowwwwer. How do i fix this??


Am using winxp , some built on sound card and a basic mic

go to your xp sound propertys and select only the mic and mic boster . test ts of ok stop if not also make sure you got all the latest drivers for your motherboard sound card , and directx 9.0b test ts if no joy then try
in ts settings tab / options select direct sound , if it's on direct sound switch and test wave , if no luck there select differant inputs / outputs bottom same page and test after each change !

Well do you have a fan on in your room or wherever ur playing at? That is a big factor in sound over mics!

Had same trouble with my previus sound card .. and in that case i was a hardwere error on my soundcard .
the card was TBSC (Turtle Beach Santa Cruze)
So it can be a hardware issue.
