I first tried to run TeamSpeak Server as a service using firedaemon. This worked fine, until I would logon to the Windows Server, and then log off. When I logged off the Windows Server TeamSpeak Server would stop running…restart…then stop again and restart a second time and stay on.
For this reason I decided to switch to the servany option. However, this made it worse. Now when I logon to my server and log off again, the TeamSpeak Server stops for good. If I reboot the Windows Server the service starts up fine and I can again reconnect to TeamSpeak, until I logon to my Windows Server again and log off…Pop goes TeamSpeak Server.
When I log back onto the server, and look at the services, it shows the TeamSpeak Server service as ‘started’. But since I can’t connect to the TeamSpeak Server with the client, I assume it isn’t really. Restarting the service starts TeamSpeak Server backup again, until I log off the Windows Server
