Hello all,

Question 1:
Can smth be done about the local ip adres that is show'n in the teamspeak program window (the internet protocol that host's / run's teamspeak)
Perhaps a check-box to hide the ip ... or perhaps to replace with a "www..." internet site

Why i ask this ... a lot of ppl that still are not mature have programs that can influence the run of teamspeak (ip/port's atack's)

Input:
Ppl that are using teamspeak that will have to know the ip where to connect to:
The ip of teamspeak-server can be uptaned via a flash/marcomedia site where right kliking for the propertie's of the site will not be found.
Meaning the ip is 100% hidden
"<a href='teamspeak://123.123.123.123:8774?password=lalalala?nickname=me me?channel=[ Main ]'>[ Main ]</a>"
Inputting this line/code in a website and one klik's on the link "[ Main]" make's teamspeak popup, run and connct to this ip with the right password and join channel "[ Main ]"
Clan-grup's make this adjustion in restricted area's.
Where the ip is 100% hidden from any unmature ppl

Qeustion 2:
When linking two or more teamspeak server with eachother's, will bouth client's from the server join same/seperate channels and make one big network or am i thinking to much as an chat-network

Tnks in advanced 4 reading this

You're new to this networking stuff, aren't you?

Face it - if somebody connects to your teamspeak server he HAS to know the IP, else he could not communicate with your server. Even if teamspeak would not display the IP, anybody could just have a look at the packets that are being sent, since every one of them does (and must, if it should ever arrive) contain your IP address.
So - hiding the IP of a server is not possible; if your server is configured in a way that it is easy for evil little kids to disrupt its functioning (called DoS, Denial of Service), then you should fix that problem...
Of course you can't totaly prevent the possibility of being DoS-ed, but unless the evil kiddies "attacking" you have many many PCs under their control that have fast internet connections, you should not really notice any problems (tested it myself just now, I don't notice a big difference on my DSL line when ping flooding myself with 100 MBit/sec from a root server).
