Hi, I'm having a strange problem with TS server.

I've added a Linksys router model NR041 to my setup, I connect to the Internet thru Bellsouth who supplied my DSL modem, Westell Wirespeed b90-220030-04.

I have disabled the firewall feature of my DSL Modem, an configured my router for Port forwarding on port 8767. I am able to connect to my own server using my internal IP address of 192.168.1.101 just fine.
However, when trying to use my Static IP I can connect but immediate I am disconnected, Also anyone that has tried to connect to this server has the same results.

I did noticed today something strange that happened, upon trying to connect, I was disconnected as normal, but then it started this Looping of trying to connect again Immediatly, Logs below show this happening... after several times of allowing this Loop, I succesfully connected. I do not know if this is perhap an issue with my router or is there some new problem with TS server, this is the newest release of TS, an I just installed 2 days ago.

As you can see from a portion of the Log, this took a while before I connected succesfully.

you should not use the WAN IP to connect to a server which is within your own LAN ! Some routers can handle this, some have problems. This is a router issue.

People from the WAN, can they now login (they have to use the WAN IP) ?

Correct, I found out last nite about my router not being able to support me using the Wan IP to connect, but this still leaves us with the problem of outside users trying to use the WAN IP to connect an getting the same results I had.
