I just downloaded TS..went and got a new headset with the mic and everything,but the mic isn't working..i'm 100% sure I have it plugged in correctly and everything....any ideas to get it working?

you need to go to the OS sound propertys and check the mic and mic booster ! then in ts settings tab / options you need to select the input/outputs you want !

My mic isn't working either. At first it wasn't working at all and now it works but people can barely hear me and with static. Is it possible I have a headset that isn't compatible with my PC? I'm on a different PC and the headset I am using was being used on the other PC and worked wonderfully! Now it barely works and with static and very very low volume.

I'm using Win98SE and SiS 7012 Wave - Not sure what else you may need but I'd appreciate some help. I'm so used to using TS that now I feel lost without it lol. Also I tried to put a check in the booster for the mic but that just gave more static.

try to find updated drivers for your sound card !

I tried to update my drivers two separate ways. One I went to the website for the sound card and when I tried to download and install it, I was asked for my win98se CD but the file it was looking for was no where to be found so I wasn't able to update after all. I also went to the device manager and tried updating the drivers that way and was told by my system that I'm using the best drivers for my sound card already. So now what? Any other suggestions? I feel so lost without TS :( :(
