We have had some troubles with people joining our server and being annoying.
We want to leave the one channel open to the public. But after a ban they seem to be able to rejoin after they close down Internet connection and sign back on and get a new ip. I had a friend do this. I banned him, he closed internet connection resigned back on and was on channel in under 1 min. Is there another answer for this problem short of placing a password on.
Thanks in advance,
Bob

you could ban a whole IP range, but this has the drawback that this could prevent desired players on the server. Vs dynamic IP's, banning per IP not a realy solution => a passwords seems to be much more effective.

I have the smae problem. How can i ban on ip range in the console? The big problem is we ant to leave a part of our TS Server open for public so a password simply wouldnt work....
I think if somebody has a conflict we can always try to find a option for that instead.
