seperating audio

I was wondering if its possible to get the game sound from speakers and then teamspeak through earphones? would this have to be one with cahnnel audio? (i.e. 5.1 etc?)

this would require to have two soundcards (e.g. a built in and a separate). You would then choose TS to use for example the built in card and for the game the separate. I wouldn't knwo of a other way to route the sound to diff. dest.
