if you dont know about your router, look in the manual on how to log in the the router , and port fowarding it's not hard !!! dont have it , look it up on the net by name an model # . but routers are diferant so i dont know how yours is , mine is open internet explorer and type in 192.168.1.1 no http: only the ip # and if you have never loged in to it befor the password should be "admin" no user name on most , and do change the password and put it on a piece of tape and tape it to botttom of the router so you dont forget it ! , find port fowarding tab and open it enable it / save

open a port is not the same as forward a port !
you open a port in a firewall but you forward a port in a NAT setting (that's whats running most surely on your router).

I use a speedstream router and there is on-line help for opening and forwarding ports that can be accessed fairly easily. I'm not sure what router you use, but there will probably be some sort of help from the manufacturer that can show you how to do this if you can't find it somewhere here on the boards.
