I have this problem, whereas I can't host any servers anymore (I used to), but suddenly it stopped working . I have all my ports open (specifically TS's ones aswell), all my firewalls off and it STILL doesn't work. I really have no idea why it doesn't work and I hope some of you know a solution, since I'm the one who hosts TS for ym friends and keep it online 24/7...

Okay... It says bad username or server is not running teamspeak, that kind of she-bang. I can log onto it (d'uh) but sometimes I myself can't even log onto it @_@;;. I've reopened the ports and closed em and reopened em again...nothing.

bad username means you tried to connect to the server with wrong username / password.
When closing and reopening ports be aware that this takes some time till the new rule is working (one my router a port forwarding rule can take up to some minutes till it's working unless I reboot the router).

Within your own LAN, ONLY use the LAN IP to connect to your server.

And I don't have any passwords configured. This problem just happened suddenly. I have no fucking idea why da hell Team Speak stabbed me in the back.
This is weird my server only displays these two weird IP's now...
192.168.18.102
and
221.216.46.129
Where da fark is the one I send to my friends?

are you sure you know what the IP's are about, I mean you're playing with a server, so you should have some basic knowledge ?
- 192.168.18.102 is your LAN IP which works ONLY within your LAN.
- 221.216.46.129 is your WAN IP which should ONLY be used from players outside your LAN => e.g. your friends

Well I can't even log in with the following IP :)
221.216.46.129
... And yes I know what they are for, but usually the IP number isn't 221...etc...
It gives me this:
[00:05:00] Connecting to 221.216.46.129
[00:05:04] No reply from server
Maybe the server is offline
or maybe teamspeak is not running on it

And why does my server only show those two weird IPs?

you conect to 192.168.x.x ip
all others outside your lan/house use 221.216.46.129

now you allso have a router or firewall up and need to allow it /open the port nedded by ts witch is 8767 udp !! how doo i know this ?? i am getting the error "no reply from server" !! if my pc could see your pc i would be conected !

And why does my server only show those two weird IPs?
1) what's wired about these two IP's ?
2) what else do you expect ?

Either you're not knowing what you're talking about or I don't understand you
Could it be that this IP is changing and you're not understanding this ? => check the FAQ for dyn IP

hey guldi, are you only supposed to log in with your lan ip if its your server? (i.e. its your server on your network therefore if i have a linksys router i log in with 192.168.1.xxx?)

Well NOBODY can connect to those IP's NOT EVEN me!!!! Usually when my ports are closed I still can connect to my own TS server (but others can't), but this time I have all ports OPEN and it STILL doesn't work. :\

usually there is a LAN IP and there is a WAN IP.
- The LAN IP is only for useres within the same LAN and thoses users should only use this LAN IP. Due to a router limitaion very common, people inside the LAN can not connect to the server running in the same LAN by using the WAN IP. Some routers can handle this but it's def. not advise to do so.
- The WAN IP can only be used from people not inside your LAN.

If you can't even use the LAN IP, then you are probably dealing with a firewall problem in your network.

nice post  try redoing your router ports in portfowarding . some times there is a power flux or a outage messes up the saved info so it looks like it's there but is messed up a tad so it don't work . 8767 udp is the port you need by default .

Since most IP's are dynamic...

open command prompt and type ipconfig...
make sure your LAN ip has not changed.

then type 192.168.1.1 in IE and log into your router.
Check to see if your WAN ip has changed.

If either has changed, you are trying to log in with bad ipaddresses.

And the lan IP Address is the "IP Address" in Command Prompt right?
I bought a new router just for this TS and it still ain't working. I can't join servers and I can't find servers on Web Server list.
