I have forwarded every port according to the faq, manaul and threads. Firewall disabled. The server cannot be accessed outside the LAN. I have windows XP SP 1, linksys BEFW11s4 ver 4 router. The server ip is 24.51.235.38:8767. I have been searching these forums for 2 weeks and cannot find a reliable solution. It is not a router/port forwarding issue. I have read my router manual and any documentation I can find for the equipment. As far as I can see there must be some other setting in XP that I don't know about.
Any help would be appreciated.

Quite harsh words friend. This setting may HAVE been set off by default, but alas this setting was preventing my Teamspeak server from running, thus the information was not WRONG as you put it. It was merely information. At the risk of being labeled a troll, I will post on this subject no more, and offer no more help to anyone.
Good day.
