Ok, I'm brand new to TS. I just head about it today on some server that I was on and they said to download it here. I have, well, some questions.

My FIRST quesion:
1. Is TS compatible with COD?(Call of Duty) - Which NO I am not a newb at. :D

2. Can I just log onto a server in COD and just start up Ts to hear everyone, or what?
3. Are there people on EVERY server that talk?
4.What are the threats to my computer when I download the software?
5. If not, is there the possibility that I can receive viruses or the like from other uses while talking?
6.Do you think this would be ideal, with the risks, to download on an expensive computer that I plan to keep, for, well a long time!

Thanks to whoever answers this. You're a big help.

And if you have any other tips, please add those, too.

Sorry, I forgot to ask, what is the difference between the two downloading formats/companies?

1. Yes it is compatible with COD
2. No, TS doesn't run with the game. You log onto a specific TS server then find your game (ideally the same game that the rest of the people in your server are playing)
3. Answered in answer 2 (i assume you are talking about the servers of COD and not the servers of TS)
4. Not much in the way of threats, just virus scan it and makes sure you have a firewall
5. Not sure about this one, i don't think so though.
6. I use it on an expenisive computer.

what do you understand under this ? No idead what you're talking about :confused: i was wondering when you go to download, there is download from mirror 1 and download from mirror 2. is there is difference/speed/connection/etc?

The mirror is just to help the TeamSpeak developers so that they do not have to pay for all of the costs in hosting the download. There is probably a download speed difference, though not by much. Pick either mirror to download from and you will be fine.
