I'm having a problem trying to get my mic to work. When I bought my new computer I had problems trying to get my mic to work, but I just tested my hardware under the sound controls and it worked. When TS had the virus porblem I unistalled TS. I recently installed TS again and my mic wouldn't work again, so I thought I would test my hardware again and when I tried doing so I got an error saying that dpvsetup.exe is missing and I need to install it throught Add/Remove. I tried doing that and it doesn't work. If someone could help I would aprreciate it alot.

looks like a directX file. Tried reinstalling directx ?

Ive tried reinstalling directx but it didn't work.

Ive figured out the problem and after searching google for dpvsetup.exe I found that Mcafee 7.0 was screwing with directx in some way. I unistalled My Virus protection and it fixed the problem. Then I bought an new Anti-virus and its working fine. Thanks for the help anyways
