Question: are admin and superadmin the only accounts permitted to use the web interface?
If others are supposed to have access, I seem to be having trouble with the server web page. I just downloaded 2.0.20.1 and placed it on a SuSE 9.1 Pro machine I constructed solely for this purpose. For the first test run, I deliberately set TS up and ran it as root to avoid any preliminary permission problems. On running the startup script, I get the correct responses from the service and the correct sockets are opened. The service's web pages are available on the default port, and admin and superadmin can log in and work the settings just fine.
The trouble begins when an attempt is made to login to the web page as either an anonymous user or a test user created for just this purpose: all attempts to login are greeted with a "Login failed" message. This occurs using both valid and empty system passwords. Interestingly enough, connecting to the TS audio service via the Win32 client using both anonymous and the test user work just fine.
I have renamed the DB and restarted, tried installing and running under a user other than root, even ripped out the entire system and reinstalled, all to no avail.
Any clues?
Thanks.
