Installing a linux server on a webserver.

Is it possible install a linux server on my webserver? I know this is kind of a stupid question......

Depends onto ur acces to it, and if u own it / have permission to install teamspeak.

I have acess to the ftp and I can set up anything i want really, I just don't know how.

Before you post read the FAQ !!!!
if you only have a FTP access you will not be able to run a Server (TS server or any other server) since with FTP you can only move around files but NOT start or stop a server.

I read the FAQ and found nothing, and thats why i posted here. But thanks for answering my question anyway.
