Choppy sound :(

I'm running Knoppix (Debian) on a 1.5 Ghz P4 laptop, with a Realtek Ac'97 sound card. I installed teamspeak okay, but the sound is really quite bad, chopping or stuttering sound. I've tried different codecs but nothing seems to be working. I'd really appreciate any help in getting this working. This is the only app in linux that I haven't been able to fix yet. :P

Try turning your Sound Buffer Size down. I had a similar problem and that fixed it for me.

Settings > Options > Sound Devices > Sound Buffer Size
