Hello fellows :)
I have used a few of the linux server versions now, today im using 2.0.20.1
Anyway when I during the time passed by since i first tried the linux server out have wanted to reinstall my linux system and format, I read that I should save three files to easily preserv all the users and the settings:
server.dbs
server.ini
server.log
but during some of the versions i have used, there has been a trouble that the server.log file has been filled with lots of rows like this:
06-03-04 21:08:04,ERROR,All,webpost, DoWebPost Exception: EAccessViolation.Access violation at address 080CFB68, accessing address 61746711
So therefor I wonder if I can clean up server.log so I can get a better overview of what happens on the teamspeak server when im not there. :)
I mean I dont wanna break the server or anything, and I see on my linux system as a comparision syslog gets emptied by logrotate and an backup of older syslog events are stored in a syslog.1.gz file. so I though perhaps i could do the same, save a copy of the old server.log as a compressed file and then start to delete rows, lots off them in the active server.log file.
