How can I leave certian numbers as -ANY- on a ban list?

This guy has a router or something, and just switchs his IP to 1 more, so we have to ban him, EVERY TIME, on EVERY NUMBER. Is there a way to leave some of the numbers to a 'RANDOM' so that it will ban anyone from that gateway, or anyone on that router?

Thanks.

PS, the bans appear like 65.32.1.***
Thats what im trying to find out how to do, iv seen it done before, I just dont know how.

I'm guessing the user is on a dynamic ip and dose not have a wife or a life for that matter...

only thing i can think of is to ban his username that he is using, i think theres a txt file in your server folder for adding banned names (not 100% sure about this) so u could try it that way.

Cheers, Philly

- banning IP Ranges is possible, e.g. enter: 65.32.1.* to ban all IP's in the Range of 65.32.1.0 - 65.32.1.255

- MUCH BETTER solution: add a server password, that's the way to keep unwanted people away from your server

also there is a 20 ban limet on the client if you open the client and count the bans and you got 20 you need to deleat some to get new bans added .
i was told it's a packet size limittation on info sent so 20 is all ya get ? but not for sure on that info

It was posted that way somewhere in this forum.
If you need more ban's you could use a firewall. Those allow usually to setup much more bans, but still, setting a password is THE WAY to go for you !
