I have read the FAQs and searched through these forums for a while, and cannot find an answer to my problem.

I would like instructions on completely cleaning TS off my hard drive.

TS used to work fine. Problems started when I switched soundcards from onboard AC'97 to a Muse XL card. My TS mic output was reduced to a barely audible pulsating feedback sort of noise. My mic DOES work in windows and with all normal programs. I uninstalled and re-installed TS, and changed drivers with no luck, then switched back to the onboard sound, with different drivers and still had no luck. I deleted a dll file from windows directory which I thought might be a TS codec so I coudl re-install it, but now TS will not transmit anything. So I say again, I am looking for instructions on cleaning out all traces of TS and its codecs so I can try reinstalling it. Instructions on cleaning out old audio drivers would be appreciated as well.

look for a HIDDEN file Tamspeak.conf (explained in the forum in many threads) and delete it. This file stores your users settings. It will be recreated after you start TS

As I suspected, deleting the conf file had no effect. seriously, i think i need to remove the codecs.
