Hi all...

At first: THE IDEA

I want to program a TeamSpeak bot - i want it to talk over teamspeak ( per .wav and Speech engine ) and to be able to accept registrations, kick, ban, accept away msgs from users (like: "I'm gettin me a coffee brb" in plain text and recorded wav) etc...

Next: THE PROBLEM

I'm used to DiectSound - no Problem ... I'm used to TCP/IP (UDP was new, but MSDN helps ;) ... so no prob )...

THE ONLY THING THAT NERVS ME OFF IS THE PROTOCOL YOU USE...

I've found nothing about which characters to send in which direction in which order in whatever in the forums and the web....

I've made a Sniff (Sorry for that dudes ... Missing information leads to agressive working methods) of my Client connecting to our server...
Made to find the Username etc... But there seem to be some Checksums or something, that i don't really understand in those lines transferred...

So at last : THE QUESTION

Is there a description of the UDP Protocols or will there be one?
Or: Can anybody tell me how i do connect to TS as a client (NO, I CANT USE THE TCP CONNECTION, BECAUSE I WANT TO USE THE SOUND SYSTEM)
Or: Is there a other way to get Sound to the Server (e.g. Server Plugin, etc...)

People ... i really love teamspeak ... And in all cases i fighted for teamspeak in our clan (nice bugs e.g. : norton antivirus - you know what i mean) ...

But we really want that bot... and i think other people think so too...

Hope, my CAPS dont nerv and my english isnt that bad and all understood the prob...

Thanks...

I have my doubts.... TS is not open source and so is the TS protocoll. This is the information I have, sry, won't help you much

we wont release any protocol informations, nether now or in future. also we will do ALL needed to protect OUR property.

just wait for teamspeak 3, with that we release an nice sdk solution with that you can perform all actions an normal client can do (also voice) plus what you like todo :/
