Im new at hosting a TS server.

I have downloaded, setup, made a bunch of channels and done all that stuff already.

My problem is people can not join it. All they get is the error message wich states that the server is not replying or is offline.

I have a Linkys router, whitch i added the port 8767 udp with the ip address ending in 100.

I also have the windows firewall enabled. I also added the port number 8767 there.

I have tryed basically everything i could. Help on this matter would be gratefully appreciated.

Thanks in advance

well its definately a firewall issue either you didnt configure your router correctly or the windows firewall

do you have another firewall like MCAFEE or NORTON or ZONEALARM?

is the ending .100 when you start your server right click the server icon by your clock and check that 192 (lan ip and make sure your using that number in both your firewall and router) thats the ip you need to open up

most linksys have an option in the advanced tab called port forwarding public 8767 udp and private 8767 udp thats what u gotta do good luck and message me on aim if u still cant get it

Disable the Winblows firewall. That is a bigger headach than an asset.

Second make the IP on your machine hosting the server static. That way you are shure the port fowarding is going to the right place.
