This update fixes the voice gets louder in time bug from the 20 patch in windows.
Further more this fixes gui update timing issues that particularly plagued linux so that talk lights did not go on etc.
Windows is here:
http://www.teamspeak.org/files/TeamSpeak_patch22.zip
linux is here:
http://www.teamspeak.org/files/TeamSpeak_linux_patch22.tar.bz2 (note. For some reason internet explorer makes tar.tar files of our tar.bz2 files. If anyone can tell me why, i would greatly appreciate it :) Other browsers / http download utils seem to work ok.)
Just replace the old teamspeak with the new one.

Slight Issues in the past will all TS2 Clients, see I've been trying to set up a server and the Client crashes on my non-Intel Computer. It uses an AMD cpu instead, I doubt thats the problem though, it might just be because I haven't reformatted or something in such a long time. I dunno thats probably a really bad description of my problem, but ah, my two cents. I'm crossing my fingers and hoping this version works better.
(Crashes upon connecting to a server)
Sorry for posting this problem in a non tech support spot, just want it to be noticed.

Ive updated and it seems to be running fine. Thanks again for the updates.
(linux) Thanks =). Please look for some suggestions into the client.linux forum folder, maybe some some of the ideas for catching keysyms help with the talk ok keypress questions.

Doesn't work.
I get an error message wich says:
- Error Loading Hawlvoice library (hvdi.dll) Maybe not isntalled ? -
I'm using the .13 windows version......on Win98 client.
Dominator dont "install" the patch but unpack it en copy over ....
I don't mean to be disrespectful, but I think one should at the very least read the few lines posted along with the update URL.

Windows Client 2.0.22.22
Linux Server 2.0.17.20
Even though the channel has the "S" flag, I can't set myself channel commander until I remove my "CA" (Channel Admin) rights.
(Using drop-down menu ... "Self -> Channel Commander")

Main window focus is not returned after viewing and closing the Connection Info dialog on any user while connected to any server.
So far, everything else seems to work without a hitch.
Nice job guys.

windows client version 'admin' issues:
hi guys
when i give someone channel admin rights after logout his rights are gone ... i noticed on the 1 st version these options didnt vanished after logout ...
channel options are on sub-channels and registered host still on .17 linux version because of the multiserver html admin 'bug'
should we wait for the all updated version or... because there are a lot of client and server versions interacting now online ......
TS2 does not seem to handle XPs "Fast-User-Switching" pretty well. :(
Both, the client and the server will crash with an unhandled exception if I do the following:
- start the client and/or server
- click on "Start"
- click on "Log Off"
- choose "Switch user"
- see them go
I guess the same bug prevents me from putting the TS server on XPs Scheduler. If no user is currently logged in, TS starts up and goes down the very next second.
Anyone who can reproduce this bug?
WinXP Prof, SP1
Soundblaster Live!
Athlon XP 1800+
ASUS A7V133
Are u looking for things just to go wrong ?
And tried anything else with the scheduler of XP ....i didnt got 2 proggies to work with the scheduler also so this could be named as not XP scheduler compatible...
what has scheduling to do with fast user changing ?
It seems you are looking for things not to work well ....why fast changing user when all applications are still working ?
Ever tried fast driver changing in a car without opening doors
;)

Nope, but I have good reasons why I need both things to work. TS is running on a desktop machine in my college, used by several different people. What I need is a TS server that runs as a background process, so other peoples can still work on the machine. So I have 2 options:
a) Log in, start TS, switch user, so other users can log in
b) Use the scheduler to start TS on system boot or at a specific time

It´s not a scheduler problem. The scheduler tries to start the server executable but fails because TS throws the same unhandled exception as before.

In both cases TS needs to run with no access to the desktop.

Because someone else wants to use the puter?
Update:
Just tried to install the TS server as a Windows Service via FireDaemon and the same error comes up again.

i will do a real win32 service later this month...
(Linux with most recent TS-client patch) When I connect and disconnect to different servers rather quick (say, connect to a server, see nobody is on it, disconnect and proceed to the next), the GUI freezes after approx. the third connection attempt, showing server channels and halting then. That happens very often.
Maybe this is a problem with memory leaks or some cleanup/preps that take some time and did not finish up, or buffering problems?

Jammet -> Debugging logs would be extremely helpfull.
In settings->options->orhter set log level to debug. Restart the ts client.
Then make it crash on this bug. In your homedir should be this file: ~/.teamspeak2/TSClient.log
If you could post that here, or mail it to me, it would help a lot!
Nagilum -> This is a client update, not a server update :P

Sure. But both, the server AND the client seem to be plagued by the same bug. If the client looses access to the desktop, it will crash.
I dunno what code they have in common, but perhaps there is something wrong with the way the NotifyIcon or the MessageLoop is handled?
OK; it really seems to be the NotifyIcon (aka TrayIcon) thats causing the bug. I disabled the icon via TeamSpeaks option dialog and voilá, no more crashes when switching users.
1.
I have several channels, 2.0.22.22 is giving me the wrong message when a player joins the server in a different channel than I am on, it says:
[17:42:19] -playername- joined channel
2.
We are using TS2 with WWII Online. One of our users is experiencing a problem whereby every time someone joins/leaves teamspeak, his focus is returned to the desktop (effectively alt-tabbing him out of the game briefly). I'll try to get more info from him (what os), but I thought I'd mention it incase anyone has experienced and solved the same.
I'm still having that loss-of-state problem. It appears to be more than just the Process Priority which does it; if you fire up TeamSpeak, go into Settings >> Options and then toggle Enable GameVoice hardware off and then on again, and then click apply, it will reset the EGVH option back to off and the Apply button will remain enabled...
I've visually documented it short of an animated video just here (http://lawndarts.kfs.org/ts/states.html)
