I have mad lag time of 4 secs on my OWN server off my OWN computer. any ideas.

so two people in your LAN and you have a delay of 4 sec ? That would be HUGE !
what's the ping you anfd the other's have to the server ?
Tested WAVE/Direct sound ?

no, 2 people connect, me and a freind who lives 10 min away.... i have a good cable connection as does he. What is wave/direct sound?

wow, a ping of 10min ? That's not a good connection ;)
=> What about answering the question ?

WAVE and DIRECT sound is described in the manual. TS can use either Direct Sound or WAVE.

for example in the signature or in the folder you installed TS. That was a VERY tough question !

did you saw the smile at the end of the line ? I was making a joke cause Templarx7's answer (...10 min. away..." is more then useless. I asked for the ping which can be high even if you're geog. very close together.

I have exactly the same pb: 4 pcs local network (wifi) server on my own pc . I use TS RC2 ,XP PRO SP1a,sblive platinum 5.1.

PS: With windows messenger or spyke , there is no delay...

Can you helpme?
