I installed WinXP Sp2 on my machine the other day. I've been using TS RC2 bld 2.0.32.60 just fine prior to sp apply.

After sp, I opened security center and allowed firewall permissions for Teamspeak Rc2 application.

I am able to load, connect to my TS server, and I can hear friends talking. I try to talk, and my light shows green as if I'm talking, but nobody can hear me. I've done local self test, mic working fine.

?

Did I miss a setting I need to change? I've changed nothing else on this machine since SP2 install, and TS was working fine before install.

Thx for ideas -

Ok I solved this! For anyone else, here's what you do -

After adding Teamspeak 2 in the firewall settings (original post note), I went to control panel/sounds and audio devices/voice tab, then just run the "test hardware" wizard (hit the button).

The wizard will check hardware, and you'll find that a direct x app and a supporting dll is being blocked. The security center pops up and asks if you want to keep it blocked or unblock it.

Just select unblock for each one. Now everything works groovy!

Cheers all -
