· TeamSpeak version (complete string: 2.0.xx.xx)
· Operation System + Service packs
· Soundcard + Driver versions
· Game (full name, not short like CS or something, search engine needs more than 3 characters)
· DirectX Version (if its anything different then 8.1 then you probably didn't read the FAQ forum)
· What error message do you receive? (information out of your TSclient.log or server.log can be very useful)
· How often does the error appear?
· What did you do to resolve the problem?
· and last but not least: Are you a hot looking girl? (I think it might be better of not asking that)

Teamspeak 2.0.32.60
Windows 2000 + Service Pack 4
Intel 865 + ICH5 Chipset with integrated sound (Analog Devices AD1985 Codec mean anything?)
Freelancer
DirectX 9.0b
No error messages, just no sound transmissions when I get in the game
Every time I get in the game
Tried switching from Wave to Direct sound, tried with, without 8bit, I tried all possible combinations. Works fine in Call of Duty (CoD)
I am a very hot looking girl…If I were 60 pounds less, had bigger chesticles, long hair, blue eyes, and no male parts down below. :D

Basically what happens is TeamSpeak works fine in Windows until I get into Freelancer. Once I’m in Freelancer, TeamSpeak doesn’t transmit anymore. I alt+tab to windows and TeamSpeak transmits just fine, WHILE Freelancer is running.

I tried disabling the 3D sound in Freelancer, to no avail. You know how hard it is to go from Call of Duty Team DM screaming obscenities into the mic to Freelancer where you have to talk and the rest of your clan is typing? It’s just pissin’ me off.

Any help for me? Couldn’t find anything in the FAQ, nor from forum searches. Help is greatly appreciated.

I'm sorry, support here is only for hot looking girls !
;)

I played quite some time Freelancer under several PC's with win2k (SP2 + SP4) with an SB Audigy (SB Live,...) and never had any problems. As you tested WAVE or DIRECT sound already, I'd suggest you check your onboard Sound chip (Driver Update).
If you have the chance, I would test a seperate Sound card as onboard chips are well known for causing problems.

Thanks for the tips, I'll try throwin' an audigy in there when I get home from work, until then I'll look for driver updates.

this is highly confusing me ? Is there are new patch for freelancer (stoped playing a long time ago) which is causing problems. Need to check this at home.
Freelancer does not have a newly built in voice tool as games like CS,... have ? Such tools usualy prevent other voice tools (like TS) to use the rec. source.

Freelancer has no built in voice tool, and the other guys I play with can use TS just fine...it's only me.

Are you running FRAPS in the background or another tool that might want to record sound?

Nope, nothing. Only other processes are critical windows processes...don't even have Trillian or Outlook running.
