i have this problem
ERROR: 10060 - A connection attempt failed because the connected party did not properly respond after a period of time, or established connection failed because connected host has failed to respond.
what i can do?
[F*C]Predator: ERROR: 10060 <- Means that you host doesn't repond and Telnet reports the error.
First of all make sure you are using correct port when establish a connection. You can try this by opening your dos-shell and type in Telnet.
now type in o xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx xxxxx
Note: The port number is normally 51234 but can be different on your host.
If you get the respond [TS], you're able to connect and so should the script. Otherwize you must contact the host administrator for further help.

I have got a problem with the script... It runs fine, except on loading the TS2.php page itself, on trying to read all the channels and things, it only reveals the title of the server, http://neo-1664.kicks-ass.net/TS/ts2.php see? Any ideas for a solution?
nEo-1664: The only way I can debug this is if you by private message send me your server IP + port and port to TS2.

Im not 100% sure in what you asking.....but I think you mean:
$tPort is my variable for Server QueryPort number....used when establish connection via Telnet to a server hosting TS. When connected, TCPQuery can be used.

Is this script compatible with Phpbb 2.0.6 ?
If it is, is there a way to make the page smaller like the TS blocks for Nuke
so that it can be added to your home page ?

If you take a look under you <div align="center"> you will see that your first table is sized to 100% which is the reason for the page not centering it self. Lower the percentage to i.e 70%
I will soon publish v. 1.5 with some minor bug fixes and easier layout configuration. Until then.....cheers

Would you mind us offering this script on our website within our downloads section? We have no problem giving proper credit.
Let us know.
I've now updated the script to v1.5:

No, I dont mind if you have it as a download.

I have no problem to login as an anonymous on my TS2 server via my script. Have you checked you TS2 settings, does it allow anonymous connection and also check if a password allways is needed. If so you can alter the login.php and type in the password in the input value.

Hi,
I've stumbled into yet another problem (wouldn't call it bug, more like... programming challenge :))
Anyhow, I did the following:
1. created subdomein like: ts.domain.com;
2. pointed this subdomain in apache httpd.conf like:
<VirtualHost *>
ServerName ts.domain
DocumentRoot F:/www/ts
blah-blah-blah
</VirtualHost>
3. unzipped your script into: www/ts;
4. opened conf and adjusted parameters;
When I start the ts2.php it all runs well, exept it is not showing pictures :( (the small icons - gif's). If I look at them (properties) I see it is pointing into:
ts.domein.com/icons/icon_name_here.gif
However, Apache can not find them and leaves that space blanco.
If I however use the root URL, like: www.domain.com/ts/ts2.php - it's all working properly.
I must admit, this *could* be Apache problem as well... But if you have ANY clue, I'm listening.
Btw, I could change the php to point to the absolute url, like: www.domain.com/ts/icons/icon_here.gif, but is there a more, let's say, elegant way to do this?
Cheers,
ChillerBG

Oh man! That's so cool! Thanks a lot for this script! I have just one suggestion. Is it possible to have something said Server Down or something when is not up. Cause we have 2 TS2 server, but they dont always run. And when we go on our web site we see just a white page and an error message.

Hay just thought I'd say that this version of the script is very good,
thanks very much,
Just wondering.. In the latest version.. the javascript rollover status bar messages.. Were they taken out on purpose?
I have edited the current version (v1.5) to include the status bar messages by taking some of the coding from the previous version cuz I think they are ace :D
Check my version at http://cdff.discipledev.com/teamspeak (still working on homepage :rolleyes: )on this page you will see the status of each of the servers, which I thinks "MightyApache" might want a look at ;)

Ok not being picky but thought I might point some things out that might be helpful :cool:
You put a java roll over on the server name.. and called it "default".. ??
The channels are not always in alphabetical order.. like they appear in ts itself..
Perhaps you could include the channel description, as this is in the actual ts??
When you try to login as anonymous you should be able to join by just entering your nickname.. but if you leave password blank it will not run ts and join.
If you enter a password it will run ts and join, or say incorrect password..?? on my server it logs in, on some others it says wrong password.. when they both dont have a passwords..
..ClericFIREFOX..
-> You put a java roll over on the server name.. and called it "default".. ??

-> log in thing...
1. -> I decided to remove the window.status because it can cause javascript error on the login page if a TS server has included singlequotes in the channelname. There's nothing that hinders a users to add this to the script if they want as you did.
2. -> True, I didn't include an alphabetical sorting method for the channel names, mainly because it could so easly be set by using the sorting on the server....but I will include an alphabetical sorting method in the next version.
3. -> Sure.....
4. -> Will have it fixed on the next version.
The sript works very great.
Easy to install and easy to use.
I thank you so much for this script !!!

If my ip im using to connect my ts server isnt avalible through http://ip then how does this work, my website and server ip is 2 diffrent things
MightyApache
06-11-2004, 00:03
You need to write your TS2 server IP in the config.php
$ip = "24.122.46.45"; // IP Address to server
$tPort = "51234"; // Server QueryPort number
$port = "8767"; // Port number to the TS2 server
In your Web Site, you need to call the ts2.php who use the config.php file to find the server(s)
Ex:
My web site is www.9bit.com/spatrick/teamspeak/statut/apache/ts2.php
When you go there, you see the TS2 server status.
So in my clan server this look like
http://cldcqc.roxorgamers.com/squelette7/index.php?file=Server
I call the first link in my second one.
Hope this help you
Good luck!
If my ip im using to connect my ts server isnt avalible through http://ip then how does this work, my website and server ip is 2 diffrent things
Your ip is what is used by the TS program , the web site's isn't a part . You use your web site's address in the web post url settings of the server .
I assume you have read this in the forums ?
Appache is correct on the config.php ,you should make sure all the scripts are correct .

Hay NiklasH,
I was just wonderin if you had a website and a banner (88px X 31px) that you want me to show on my website to link??
Also could you give me a tip on how i could get the script to accept apostrophes in the server names..
i have modified your script loads now.. I made it so that you only need one script installed to show an infinate number of server status's. Take a look at CDFFUK (http://cdff.discipledev.com/teamspeak)
The only errors / upgrades i can see at the moment is to put a welcome message in the right panel when it loads (this is why it doesnt show the server name, ip etc etc, straight away)
The invalid char error in the channel name.. Any tips to combat this error will be much appreciated :cool:
The invalid char error in the channel name.. Any tips to combat this error will be much appreciated :cool:
I guess you're refering to the "window.status".
Simply use a backslash, see example:
javascript:window.status='Join Chann\'el';
In PHP you can solve it like this:
$dummyString = "Donkey's channel";
$newChannelName = str_replace("'","\'",$dummyString);
echo "<a href=\"my url\" onmouseover=\"javascript:window.status='".$newChannelName."'; return true;\"..............etc etc
Cheers

If you replace the javascript function called doSubmit on the login.php with following code:
function doSubmit()
{
if (document.frm.auto.checked)
document.frm.autoLog.value="true";
if(document.frm.nickname.value.length)
document.frm.submit();
}
thank you very much, it worked.

Hi Niklash I have been running your script & loved it but a few days ago it stopped & another one I was running also did
(they are on same site different pages) . In the error log files i get this
PHP Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to myIp:51234 in /home/t4dog/public_html/ts2/ts2status.php on line 19
What caused this error do you know ? I have tried to change the webpost in the server to fix but no luck . I put everything back as it was before the crash now & I hope you can help me . Thanks
Also I have php4.3.9 on my server ASCII (apache2)
I can't get guest to work, but i can get registered users to work. What's with that? Any ideas? I have apache2.

Sorry I'm not a php writer but I can tell you the files need to be in a top level directory like this w w w . "xxxxx".com/ts2/ts2.php
All images & php files should be just like on you local machine when you unzipped it .
Mine works, but apparently there is a password required for Anonymous people to submit it. I'd rather not have to require guests to have to put somthing there for it to work. :(

Heres what I did ICE...make a new folder/directory in your root somewhere, call it 'teamspeak' (or what ever you want)....doesnt have to be in your phpnuke site, in fact dont put it in there at all!!...upload all the files into that one folder and modify the CONFIG to match you teamspeak server....at this point if you did everything right, you should simply type the address http://yourdomain.com/teamspeak/ts2.php and you should see the PAGE COMPLETE....
NOW, simply make a MODULE in your NUKE site that uses the IFRAME code as your 'index.php' to point to your newly made ts2.php file...
<?php
/************************************************** ******************/
/* Iframe Addon 1.6 */
/* */

/* Updated 9-20-04 */
/* http://codezwiz.com */
/* if you need any help http://codezwiz.com/forums.html */
/************************************************** ******************/
if (!eregi("modules.php", $_SERVER['SCRIPT_NAME'])) {
die ("You can't access this file directly...");
}
///////////////////////////////////////////////
$index = 0; // 0 right side off
$height = 700;
$iframescreen = 'www.your_page_to_iframe_in.html'; // Must be www.
///////////////////////////////////////////////
include("header.php");
$iframe_block = "
<iframe border=\"0\" src=\"http://yourdomain.com/teamspeak/ts2.php\" width=\"100%\" height=\"$height\">
</iframe>";
if ($opi != "ds") {
opentable();
echo "$iframe_block";
closetable();
}
include("footer.php");
?>
Then I made the module as INVISIBLE and made a block that has the LINK to the MODULE.....
check it out here: http://bhd-acc.com/nuke/
email me if you have futher problems...
i don't know if this is the problem I'm having but my site was written with Dreamweaver 2004 & it's not a php site but does have w3 sockets . Does any one know if this is the problem ? I am running windows with an apache 1.3.33 server & php 4.3.9
Any help would be greatly appreciated .

See reply by NiklasH post #76
If you replace the javascript function called doSubmit on the login.php with following code:
Code:
function doSubmit()
{
if (document.frm.auto.checked)
document.frm.autoLog.value="true";
if(document.frm.nickname.value.length)
document.frm.submit();
}
That sorted the problem for me. It still needs a nickname, but I don't think that's a problem, better really.
Thankyou for the script Niklash :)

Looking for some help Here. Using 1.5 and works great would like to add user ip to user info. By changing the $innerArray[14] from 14 to 13 it will show ip of "0.0.0.0" I realize that it shows this because you are not login as admin. Is there away to write the admin "username" "Password" into the code so that it would display it?
Thanks For Any Help In Advanced

restarting the TS server solved the issue. Been online for >300 hours....
dooh..using 1.5 for a while, nothig at all changed, not on the website, not on the TS server..now it showes my ts server as offline. TS info shows the server online, as it is supposed to be...
what the heck?
no firewalls, no config modifications, nothing at all...
same config, same number, no mistake made(quadrilion checks):

First, I love the script, it is a wonderful addition to my website. And was easy to get up and running.
Now I must ask a noob question. What exactly does the number in the pl column of the user info section stand for?
I'm sure that as soon as I get an answer to this, I will be like Duh! I should have known that.
Thanks,

I found that when I changed the UDP port it suddely went offline .
The port I chose must have been an invalid or blocked port . I suggest changing UDP ports & tcp query ports until it works . Ask your site host for detailed list of ports that are open .

Your default ports are UDP 8767 & TCPquery 15432 Try to use those first .
Also double check all the info in your .ini file to make sure it's correct .
Try to check those ports with the host as well they may be invalid .

It's your obligation to answer and update the script if posted it here on this forum.
There is no obligation for a free script to keep it updated.

First, great script!! I have been looking all over for something that will work on my web server. They have my SQL data base screwed up and i can't get them to fix it.
Here's my problem. I get it to work here........ http://nobullsimracing.com/NB_TM/ts2.php
But when I try to join(either as Anonymous or Registered) I get nothing but a TeamSpeak2.... and you don't join.
Man, this sucks. I found somthing that almost worked andway..,.....now i can't get help............no One likes me boohooo
first, the url you gave gives me the fsock error...
2nd what exactly is your problem?
and to niklash:
im working on a mod to have several servers listed (no demo yet)
Though i can give you this:
Its gonna need a mysql db for some config things
Also a small admin area will be included (password protected)
Layout changes are minimal

I think it is looking great when I see you people who made it work... but I have tried 4-6 different free web servers as my ISP didn't supported PHP and still I haven't get it to work anywhere.
So my questions are:
1. Anyone know where I can put this beautiful script for free?
2. suggestions for move the info from the PHP place where it works to my site that runs on windows? (would something called <iframe> work?
Thank you!

NiklasH, I love the script, as it's the only one i've been able to get to work with my web site. Once i realized that the reason the users were not comin up was because WebPost was disabled (stupidity on my acct.), everything worked perfectly!
http://24.111.66.106/teamspeak/ts2.php
Check it out yourself at any time. As long as the server is running, it should show at least one user, americanus, connected because i never disconnect from my server.
Also, i was wondering if there is anyway to integrate this into my teamspeak page on my website http://24.111.66.106/teamspeak.htm
right now the only way to view the server info is by clicking the link on the right side of the page.
if anyone could help me out with this i'd greatly appriciate it.

Either way, I also tried the ASP version, but none of the scripts in this forum worked at that web hotel either... as usual! :(
Still, I haven't found a single script at this forum, that have worked with a simple common free web hotel. Only the german script worked but with special settings that required a web hotel costing over $100 USD... :(

[NAVA] Steve-O,
have you ever considered hosting the site yourself? take my site - www.forsakenguild.com (http://www.forsakenguild.com) for example. i host this site on a low end computer that is running Apache 2 and php 5. the software is free to use, the only thing is that you need to manually configure Apache to work with php, but that's an easy edit to the config file. once i had the software set up, i checked the webpost box in the global settings in my TS server admin page, and the result is this working php script. (http://www.forsakenguild.com/teamspeak/ts2.php) The script NiklasH wrote is very easy to use, and it's loaded with nice features! try it out on my site.
FYI for anyone who's wondering, this is what i use for a server machine-
Dual Pentium Pro Processors - 200MHz/256k L2 cache
416Mb RAM
4GB HDD
Windows XP Professional SP2
it's 10 year old hardware that still kicks ass.
and all i'm using to connect to the internet is a broadband connection that costs $30/month.

Since nothing seems to be an easy way here, I'm now asking all you programmers for help!
I do thank you for the all the advices about setting up my own server etc. but it's still too much work for a desired "copy paste feature". I don't have any knowledge at all in linux or php. I do have a lot of knowledge about html, windows and asp, but even there the only script here demands so much extras that my ISP won't deal with just for me.
The thing is that when I finally found the webhotel that supported this script, it was so simple to use. Copy files to the webhotel, make a few settings for the TS server to be found and finally set a simple line in the html at my home page. I'm convinced that 100 or 1000 of user would have it this way if they could choose. This took me 10 minutes to fix. No own hosting, no installing of linux, no special settings or programming!
That's the way we all want it. And the script looks and work really great!
The problem here is that obviously the script are so special that 9 of 10 webhotel doesen't support it, and when I finally found a webhotel where it worked it would cost me over $100 to have this script working wothout having to start my own webserver and learn linux and learn php etc...
I'm sure it's may be easy for you people who can host your own webserver at home and who have both time and knowledge, but for me and many others who just want to see a simple status for the TS on our websites, we really thinks that this is too much.
MY QUESTION IS:
Please. You programmers that have the knowledge about this matter, could you explain to me if it's a feature that's only can be found in special PHP solutions that put us in this situation, or if it's Teamspeak programmers that have made the possibillity too narrow for more solutions (eg easy common scripts used by 9 of 10 webhotels instead the other way around.) so it's to complicated to write a simple working script?
After all, the german TS-viewer is the most simple and so far the easiest way to make a status monitor at a website, BUT it's demand a very special setting at the webhotel.
So my question to all you programmers are:
Is it impossible to make a script, like the "TS-Viewer" (no databases needed) but with more common scripts??? (something that works on most webhotels)
If this is possible.... why are there only those complex scripts to be found?
...and if so, Could anyone please try to make such a simple script of "TS-Viewer" that's working with ordinary webhotels?
If no help is available for this matter, I could use a suggestion for a free webhotel thats support the german "TS-Viewer" PHP. (I have tried 10 different free hotels and no one worked!)
Thank you for understanding my frustration!
/Steven
What are those "very special settings" anyways?
[NAVA] Steve-O
05-03-2005, 18:55
"Very special settings", is when a script fails to work at 9 of 10 webhotels....
But you Brain have written some scripts if I'm not misstaken.
Could you try to explain why it can't be done, or even better, try to write a script that works with ease at most webhotel servers? (Prefferable windows.)
Would be very happy to see anyone put this problem to an end!
Thanks!
Steven
I could explain why it doesn't work if I knew what "special" settings there were.
Maybe you're insinuating to fsockopen. If that function is disabled (all free webhosters I know have this disabled) you're out of luck, totally.
[NAVA] Steve-O

Aha.. I see
Well, everywhere I try the current script I try(TS-viewer) is stating "OFFLINE" but it worked at a paid host. That's the biggest issue right now.
I still trying to find a free webhost that could run that little script.
What about making a totally new script? Is that possible?
...and you're so right! I'm really out of luck as I now have tried about 30-40 different free webhotels without getting the script to work. :(
How are you going to connect to a Teamspeak server's Query Port if your free webhoster doesn't allow you to open connections to other computers in the first place?

I have created an interface around this ts script.. just a series of arrays.. looks good + professional if you want to show multiple hosts with multiple servers. Take a look HERE (http://cdff.discipledev.com/teamspeak)
I made this myself and is free to download from my forums at FORUMS (http://cdff.discipledev.com/forums)
Just register and go to the teamspeak section :) I have already had something like 12 downloads.
Let me know what you think :D
ENJOY!!
Ohh also if anyone wants to trade website links for better search engine.. thingy.. let me know .. email at firefox1986*********** or post in my forums at FORUMS (http://cdff.discipledev.com/forums)

Probably simply, but as I said I'm a noob :o

Hi,
Thanks for this great script, but i have a question about it.
Is it possible to show only names in a little block?
Maybe hard to understand what i mean, so here is the url were the script is working: http://www.corenation.com/forum/?page=ts2
As you can see at the left and the right of the site, we use small blocks. Now my question is, is it possible to show the names (only names) of the people who are in the ts server and put that little php script in that little block?
So just like the tree effect when you look at the "Channel and user info" table, but then smaller otherwise it wont fit in our small blocks.
Hope someone understands me because i cant even follow myself anymore lol
Greets Fragger
It's easy to make a tree structure "block" out of the code already written.
1. First create a new php page and name it i.e block.php:
<?PHP
include "ts2status.php";
require_once "config.php";
?>
<html>
<head>
<title>Tree Structure</title>
<link rel="STYLESHEET" type="text/css" href="css/stylesheet.css">
</head>
<script language="javascript">
var selectColor = "<?=$selectColor?>";
var unselectColor = "<?=$bgcolor?>";
</script>
<script src="js/vMenu.js" type="text/javascript"></script>
<style>
body {
background-color : <?=$bgcolor?>;
}
</style>
<body">
<table cellpadding="1" cellspacing="0">
<?
getTSChannelInfo($ip,$port,$tPort);
?>
</table>
</body>
</html>
2. No its easy to include this code where ever you want it to be displayed, showing an example below:
<html>
<head>
<title>Example</title>
</head>
<body>
<table cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" widht="140">
<tr>
<td><?include "block.php"?></td>
</tr>
</table>
</body>
</html>

Well, the thing is that this was more of an example how to call one function and how you can include it. I expect that Fragger which running a site of his own understand HTML, so why dont you do the same DarkCyrus?
Im feeling a bit inflamed today so maybe I should been written:
echo "Hello World";
I bet even this example could be misunderstod .. ;)

Sorry I am too dumb -.-
hello,
how can i show the people only in 1 channel ?
and not of the whole server ?
tnx
alright im new to this kind of thing. In config.php:
$ip = "204.11.33.16:8768"; // IP Address to server
$tPort = "51234"; // Server QueryPort number
$port = "8767"; // Port number to the TS2 server
Where do I find the Queryport number and the port number? The server im trying to use this for is actually not mine. Where can I find this info??
Thanks
Byroman
Port is UDP-Port you are connection to, e.g. if your TeamSpeak server is 1.2.3.4:8888
then 8888 is your port number, if you only enter an IP-address or hostname then it's 8767. The TCP-Query port is by default 51234 but if the server owner has changed this you have to ask him.

great script!!! using it for 2 different squads, one an F16MRF squadron, the other is an OFPResistance squad.
I do have one question, if the TS Server is passworded, will this script still work? The F16MRF squads default channel is unprotected with the squad only channels protected. However, the OFPR's is pw protected as the admin wants it that way. Could that be why it wont show the server? We are using the default tPort and ts2 ports opened the router for these ports etc but still getting the server error page.
I get this message:
Warning: fsockopen(): unable to connect to 67.19.245.167:51234 in /home/easyclan/public_html/maps/TS_VIEW/ts2status.php on line 19
ERROR: 110 - Connection timed out
the server port number that i use to connect to teamspeak w/ the program is 8773, the port i use for the admin panel is 14534, it wont connect when i replace the 51234 with 14534 either
any ideas?
it used to work for me, a while back, until i switch servers, but now have switched back to the server and i cant get it working again...
i get this err
Warning: include(ts/ts2status.php) [function.include]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in c:\wamp\www\ts\ts2.php on line 11
Warning: include() [function.include]: Failed opening 'ts/ts2status.php' for inclusion (include_path='.;C:\php5\pear') in c:\wamp\www\ts\ts2.php on line 11

Hi!
I would love to use this script since it's as easy as I need it...
I have changed the config file to match everything and uploaded it to my webspace but it seems like I have some problems with the telnet connection...
I have a D-link DI-624+ router and I have setup the virtual server like this:
Name: Virtual Server Telnet
Private IP: 192.168.0.167
Protocol: TCP
Private Port: 8767
Public Port: 8767
Shedule: Always
So it should forward everything to my TS server... if I try to change the telnet port to: 51234 it says that I cant since that makes a port range conflict with Teamspeak 3 which I have set up to forward all tcp connections on that port to the same IP...
please help me with some suggestions on what can be wrong...
homepage (http://koh.naesstrom.net/ts2/ts2.php)
This is from the config.php
$ip = "kohventrilo.mine.nu"; // IP Address to server
$tPort = "51234"; // Server QueryPort number
$port = "8767"; // Port number to the TS2 server
BTW, when I do a connection throug my telnet at command prompt I do get a [TS] without any problems...

ok... I'm answering my own post here... there may be someone else that has some use of it...
The problem since I could connect through telnet to it showed to be my domin... the supplier had only a few ports open and the standard one 51234 wasn't one of them... I changed it to port 110 and the suddenly it worked...
Although now I have another little question... where do I change the width of the page... I', using a Iframe to show it and I don't want the scrollbar at the bottom so I need to change the width just a little bit...

The port 110 belongs to your pop3 service. It's not a good idea to use this port.

So what port u suggest that I use... isn't 80 standard for html or something... maybe I should try that one...

i did everything like you said
but ive got this porblem:
Couldn't connect to server
- Verify that the TS2 host allow a connection via TELNET.
- Verify that correct IP Address to server.
- Verify that correct Server QueryPort number has been entered.
- Verify that correct port number to the TS2 server has been entered.
how to fix?
the ip is right like the port and query port....

Hi, havent been here for a long time.....my reason for posting is that I made Nuke module of PHPTS2 for an old friend of mine and sence I got some mails regarding this I might as well share it with thoose who want it. I can be downloaded from here:
TeamSpeak2 Nuke Module: PHPTS2 ver 2.0
http://home.pages.at/neddie/
And the replay for thoose whois having problems:
It's highly likley that your webhosts is running PHP in Safe Mode and some function disabled, PHPTS2 are using the fsockopen() and if thats blocked you wont be able to use the viewer.
If you want to check your hosts setting then create a new page and call it i.e phpInfo.php and then paste the following lines in to it, upload it to your host and have a look on the page thru your browser:
<?php
phpinfo();
?>
