View Full Version : Virtual Server Startup Failed
When I start up TS the log shows this error.
ERROR, All, SERVER, VirtualServer startup failed with port 8767, Exception: EldCouldNotBindSocket.Could not bind socket. Address and port are already in use.
Still says server is running. Was not doing this at first.
I have reset server and it continues to do this. I can not connect to webadmin or through teamspeak. At wits end. been browsing forums for an hour or so and have found nothing referring to this. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for the help.
eiter an other application is using this port or a TS server instance is still running ? Have you checed the output of ps aux ? What does netstat tell you ?
When I run ps aux I get the following
sh-2.05$ ps -aux

But I can not stop those processes. I type kill 11678 and it just goes to a new line as if it ran but did nothing in actuality. I appreciate the help everyone. After I get this working I have to try and get the server admin to open the ports for TS. I love using hosting services. hehe.
