- restarted the client ?

I am having the same troubles.
After searching the forums for all the banner threads I could find, and trying all the suggestions I saw in them... I am finally posting to ask for you help.
The server runs gentoo linux, and my TeamSpeak server software is the newest available.
I use the latest Windows TeamSpeak client.
The logo I want to use is a .jpg, and is smaller than 150 pixels tall. http://www.presumedevil.com/images/gallows.jpg
The server works just fine with the default .ini file... but won't even start on the modified one, which I am posting here.

I tried that before, and did so once again, just in case.
Still no luck on it. The server won't even start with the changed .ini file... so there's no way to even see if "www." makes a difference or not.
As stated above, the server is running on gentoo linux. I have it set to the default runlevel, and "/etc/init.d/teamspeak2-server start" will work fine with the default .ini, but with the modified one, the server won't start.
There's something else going on here other than my inability to search the forums and read the posts and apply the suggestions.
Any other thoughts? Perhaps something specific to the OS/Server combination?
i placed that line in my server.ini and it worked after i restarted my server . so hows it not working in yours ???? i loggen in to my server from my client and saw the banner my self if you want to see it for your self pm me and i will send you the ip so you can see it for your self !!!

Try to manually kill the server, end process it or reboot. Worked for me when I couldnt get it to work.I use a 450x100 image.
yep your image was most likely stuck in cash from your first try so it would not load with the fixed url

I manually killed the server and all processes related to it, changed the server.ini file out to the one pasted above (without the www.) and rebooted the whole box.
On reboot, the TeamSpeak server failed to start.
This isn't a simple issue of editing the server.ini file... or at least on gentoo linux it isn't.
Then, I decided to install the teamspeak server on a windows XP box. I did so, but there's no server.ini file in the teamspeak server directory for me to even change!
So, how the heck do I get this running properly on gentoo linux?
On reboot, the TeamSpeak server failed to start.
Error ?
I did so, but there's no server.ini file in the teamspeak server directory for me to even change!
file is beeing created AFTER the first server start
Entered your Banner into my server.ini (It's currentyl windwos, Gentoo will soon follow):

There's no error code other than [!!] as the machine boots or when I run "/etc/init.d/teamspeak-server start".
No list in the log as to why it's failed either.
As far as the windows server.ini file, I had already started, logged into the :14534 admin pages and changed the passwords, and then shut the server down... still no .ini in the program files\teamspeak server\ directory.
(this is in WIn XP)
SO, I'm nuking the box, installing 2kpro, and I'll check it again then.
