Hi to all of you! I'm new in this community but i read the whole forum to get into!

The problem is that i got the error concerning the new Fedora Core 2 Kernel...a lot of discussion about that, but no answer...

So, i just wanna know if someone fix that problem, because i can't boot with another image...

Do an older version of ts won't have this error?...or maybe a new release for ts to fix that...??!?

Hi ,

Had the same problem after Yum has made his job (updating my system, including kernel).

After rebooting, the system used by default the new kernel, making impossible to run TS2 server.

Goin' back to the previous kernel changed my life (ie TS2 ran perfectly again).

Many thanks to Xavier for his help, once more (don't search you dont know him ;-)...

Yes, but the problem is that it's a dedicated server far from me...so i can't put any diskete in it if i do an error at the lilo or grub conf file...

...

I'll try something else...thks again

Have you used the search function ? The FC 2 2.6.8.1 kernel seems to include a exec protection which prevents certain applications from run correct. There are solutions posted, do a search !
