Microphone and Speaker/Headphone both muted, won't unmute

I just installed TS Server and TS Client on my Mandrake 10.1 box and when I connect to the server it shows that both my speakers/headphone are muted as well as my mic. If I go to unmute them it does nothing.

I know my sound is working as I dont seem to have any sound problems in the other programs I am running, and I can hear myself talking into my microphone.

Any help you might be able to give on this would be great. Thanks.

have you set you input/outputs in ts ? settings tab /options/input-output

As far as I know they're all setup right...
