Because you have no idea about how to use telnet ;)

Try the command "help" and everything will be obvious. The command you're probably looking for is "o localhost 51234"

ch'ih-yu's example is correct, what you did was wrong...

you ran telnet and then (after the window opened) tried to run "telnet.exe serverip port" from within telnet again... that's just wrong.

run "telnet serverip port" directly instead from within telnet.

when everything went right you'll see a
[TS]

if your at that screen then type

open

then type the ip address like this

xx.xx.xx.xx 51234

then you should see somethign that says [ts]
then type help

you should now see a few comands
