View Full Version : coping login names and password
Is there away of moving your Login names and passwords to new server on new computer without having to type each one on again
copy
server.ini
server.dbs (this is the database file of TS)
server.log
Ok I did that but my admin login and password will not work
open the server.dbs with a text editor. The passwords are in plain text behind the appropriate users.
Yes I found the text but it still will not work admin or superadmin will not work
Maybe I should add that I'm trying to get into server adminstration login area
having a hard time to belive this one as the login accounts are taken from the server.dbs file. Unless your TS files didn't got corrupt or you use the mySQL backend, this would be the first case (I'm aware of) where these logins wouldn't work.
webadmin:
are you using the correct login page for either admin or superadmin ? Can you login with the admin into the client (with the superadmin client login is not possible) ?
I will try moving it over one more time if it does not work not big deal I have log book keeping track of everyones login names and password it will only mean it will take me about one week to redo the login names and passwords about 150 members to redo
