I know there are alot of posts for help here I have read through just about all of them. I am running win XP home, and am behind my Actiontec DSL Gateway 1524. I forwarded the ports from 8760-8770 to my pc lan ip 192.168.0.2 and have the forwarding part done just fine.

I can host a server just fine but I can not get anyone else able to access it. I can do it on my lan connection but thats all. I have no fire walls running to stop it, and oddly I have 2 internal ips and one internet ip. The 1st is my (pc lan) 192.168.0.2, the second is (unknown) 169.254.12.48, and the third is my (internet IP)216.160.118.179.

I have not seen any others with 3 ip's, and am wandering if this is a problem stopping access to the server? I have been tempted to mess with dmz hosting but dont know too much bout it. any help with this is greatly appreciated, and well its been 4 days now I been trying to get it up and running and not wanting to post here but now I feel I must.

Thank you in advance.

also what the heck is this?

"Dynamic Routing
RIP (Routing Information Protocol) Settings: Select Version 1, Version 2, or Both to enable Dynamic Routing. The default setting "off", disables Dynamic Routing."

and

"DMZ Hosting
Your Gateway can be configured to support Online Gaming and Internet Conferencing services on a network computer. To use this feature, enter the IP Address of the computer in the DMZ Host field below. "

these are other options I have for my modem but I dont wish to make my pc vulnerable... Please help, they are both off atm.
