I had this message on ts, has anyone else had it and is it authentic goteamspeak.com bot


We at TS2.com have recognised that you are using an illegal version of our software. In accordance to this we must check our systems before deleting you as sometimes we are wrong. For your benefit could you please perform the following tasks on this Bot. - Give and Revoke SA rights, Leaving a period of 5-10 seconds. -Give and Revoke Channel Admin Rights, Leaving a period of 5-10 seconds. - Mute and Un-Mute This Bot, Leaving a period of 5-10 seconds.

This message has been sent to you as lead admin of this board. It is your resposibility to reply and help the TeamSpeak Team as written in the installation agreement.

I would highly doubt anyone coming onto your server, and requesting you grant them SA rights is legit. Buts thats just my two cents...

I Imagine the TS crew will reply to this thread to the effect of: "We will not, ever, send someone onto your server requesting SA, so on and so forth."

The site is incorrect, if it were official they would have specified that the bot is from goteamspeak.com and not ts2.com. I would have real issues giving that bot, any sort of controll and would most likely ban it from my server.

Yet annother way to try to fool people into granting SA to the wrong guy. As you all have guessed this bot is not from us.

Clients of ours have had this as well. We have sent a mailing out informing them NOT to grant SA to this bot/person. Besides, it is our co. policy that no client can have "privilegegrantSA" activated. Anyone caught with it on, may be terminated.

The only way our clients can/should activate someone with SA is via the Web Admin panel.

thats what I thought at first and I have everything logged and they have 2 completly different IP's
