help before i destroy my pc

installed teamspeak the new one i have a shuttle xpc 2oth anniversary xpc
xppro installed p4 1 gig ram onboard sound ac97 when i use my team speak
other peaple on teamspeak can hear my pc like if i type or play music but cant here me threw the mike ive tryed every thing i think the only way it goes off is if i mute the wave in audio control but i loose all sounds then
i am so frustrated with teamspeak i dunno what to do

sounds to me to be a what you hear kind of setting in that card ? that would make all pc sounds get transmited

The only thing I can think of is it is a settin on your sound. Need to goto your sound options mixer were all the slidder things are and look in there . There is one that if you check that it puts all sound out to people but u can't talk think you just need to unchack that and check the mic one and you'll be set. Goto control pannel sound and audio devices and then when in there goto the advanced tab it will bring up the mixer if not one of those ones goto the options tab and check some stuff in there. m&m sry to b a bug
i installed teamspeak on 4 other pc,s we all r having the same problem
all diffrent pc,s but all have onboard sound ive been up and down my audio
recording audio everything im so frustrated maybie it isnt teamspeak
but i am frustrated

alll fixed guys thanks i bought 4 new sound cards sb live 5.1
teamspeak works like a charm now
i dont know about the onboard ac97 it has issues
that this pc shrink doesnt want to deal with :D
