I've got a Sweex adsl-router.
I want to settle up my own teamspeak server but it doesn't work if I open all required ports, TCP and UDP .
I tried it so many times on different ways, I gonna believe now it will never work.
Can somebody help me?
port 8767 udp is the only port for running a server for clients to join you need . do you allso runa firewall app of some kind ? firewalls will block you as well .
Many of my friends have had trouble running servers after this update. I don't know what to tell you, mine is on WIN2K.

Same problem here.
I have 4 port Belkin Cable Router ( by the way belkin sucks , at least this router sucks ) , Win2k Pro.
From router's setup , I opened the port for udp, I opened DMZ for my LAN IP , I setup Virtual Server thing but no hope, still cant use the server with my router.
If I disable router and directly connect to the internet everything is fine.
Does smbdy know how to set Belkin router correctly ?
Thanks
opening a port and setting up port fowarding are too diferant things

I forward all incoming request using DMZ, DMZ also puts my computer outof built in NAT.
But still does not work.
Any suggestions?

Let me give you guys more information...
I have a Belkin 4 port router for Cable and DSL
I have two computers connected to this router at home
Router has an internal firewall and it is enabled.
I set ( enabled ) APPLICATION GATEWAYS for:
Trigger Start Port : 8767
Trigger End Port : 8767
Trigger Type : UDP
Public Port : 8767
Public Type : UDP
For VIRTUAL SERVERS settings, I have ( and enabled ) :
Inbound port : 8767 - 8767
Type : UDP
Private IP Address : 192.168.1.2 ( my internal IP which teamserver runs )
Private Port : 8767 - 8767
I also enabled DMZ and FORWARD ALL INCOMING to my internal IP ( 192.168.1.2)
For my router , DHCP is not enabled. I manuelly assign IP's and gateway IP ( which is 192.168.1.1)
I pass my external IP ( www.whatismyip.com) to my friends BUT they still cannot connect.
Thanks all
some routers dont like 1# port range so try to add 1 extra potr like 8767-8768 and see if it works and you don't need to dmz it opens all ports to that 1 lan ip witch is not good for security reasons
