View Full Version : Can't install TS2
I downloaded the Linux Client from this site, and tried to install it with my fedora core 2 but with no results  :
[root@wizhard ts2_client_rc2_2032]# ./setup.sh
Runtime error 230 at 08062D1D
./setup.sh: line 19: 22600 Erreur de segmentation ${SETUPDIR}installer
(Erreur de segmentation=Segmentation fault)
don't understand why, the readme said there is juste this script to execute, can somebody help me please ?
oh, I'm pretty sure we had this one MANY times before in the forum. Pls do a search. There are some "hack" arounds
Hi all,
i got this working by altering the TeamSpeak file.
i tried and tested installations with gui and shellbased like suggested in the readme without success.
so, in the TeamSpeak file the last line should be something like :
%installdir%/TeamSpeak.bin $*
change this to whatever directory you unpacked teamspeak in. eg
/teamspeak/TeamSpeak.bin $*
save and ./TeamSpeak
that did the trick for me. Now to get the sound working
good luck,
X.
is the only topic i have seen, i tried it but still does not work !
I changed the lastline of the TeamSpeak script file to /home/wiz/Divers/ts2_client_rc2_2032/setup.data/image/TeamSpeak.bin $*
both of normal login or root login does a
[root@wizhard image]# ./TeamSpeak
Runtime error 230 at 0806A7E9
./TeamSpeak: line 8: 5539 Erreur de segmentation /home/wiz/Divers/ts2_client_rc2_2032/setup.data/image/TeamSpeak.bin $*
and also thinked to launch directly TeamSpeak.bin but no results too :
[root@wizhard image]# ./TeamSpeak.bin
./TeamSpeak.bin: error while loading shared libraries: ./TeamSpeak.bin: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings
what does it mean ? there is a missin library or just that it can not acces to ?
and last try :
[wiz@wizhard image]$ cd /usr/lib
[wiz@wizhard lib]$ /home/wiz/Divers/ts2_client_rc2_2032/setup.data/image/TeamSpeak
/home/wiz/Divers/ts2_client_rc2_2032/setup.data/image/TeamSpeak.bin: error while loading shared libraries: /home/wiz/Divers/ts2_client_rc2_2032/setup.data/image/TeamSpeak.bin: undefined symbol: initPAnsiStrings
[wiz@wizhard lib]$
again that symbol he can't find...
any idea please ?
I guess you did not find the right thread(s). When searching for "runtime error 230" you'll find a lot of them. See here:
