HELP Please Selecting Headset

Hello to you all, i would like a setup as follows, can anyone let me know if its possible.

I play Doom3 with my friend over the net.
We have just discovered TeamSpeak.

What i would like to know is, is it possible to have a USB headset and have Teamspeak direct all mic and voice output from TS through the headset and all game sound through my main 7.1 speakers.

First off is it possible ?
Second can anyone recommend any Headset that is capable of doing this please, i would imagine it will need to be a USB headset as just plugging them into my soundcard will direct Voice and Game Sounds through the headset which is not what i want.

if you have a 7.1 sound card i will all so assume you have a onboard sound card ?? you can point ts to the onboard sound card and all games to the 7.1 as i do , but i dont use a head set it hurts my ears after having them on for hours playing .so i got my old speakers and a mic on the onboard sound card with ts only .. and all other sound to include windows sounds go to the audgy 2zs card .
