Interesting. That doesn't sound like any data got lost, it seems to be just the sound output that's stuttering. Do you, by any chance, have an AC'97 sound chip?

maybe a bit n00by but i dont know, how can i find out?

Go to control panel and open sound properties. If you see something like "Via AC'97 Audio Controller" then you have one.

Similar problems at our server: "yo---s---me--" Seems like its loosing something, and I can see the green lamp flashing...
Tried different routers on the server, with port forw on; 8767, 14534, 51234 (added also 8768)
With 10 users on same channel, everyone is ok. But when the 11. and 12. and ... etc is joining the same channel, they get choppy sound.
When a previos user is leaving, one more have good sound (eg. the 11. user)
Something else I found, is when I moved 2 users (one was me, with choppy sound) to another channel on same server, sound was good (2 users in that channel)
Have been running without router, and everything is ok, then, even with 20 users on same channel.
Interessting problem actually, but gives me headace, though...

Tech:
---
Server Version: v2.0.r20.b1 Win32
Client (typically) v.2.0.32.60 Win32
Router 3Com (measures more than 10Mbit troughput wan-lan-wan)
DSL 10Mbit line
GSM 16.4 Kbit
---
Problems tonight data:
16 of 32 users on one channel (choppy sound for those joined as 11. to 16., including me)
2 users on another channel, no probs.

Someone with really good ideas?

Your fix probably means "get new drivers" or "get a decent sound card". I have the same problem at home with a backup machine that only has AC'97 sound - it's not usable for Teamspeak because despite several driver and DirectX updates it still breaks up.

However, there IS something you might try which I just remembered I didn't try... turn down the sound hardware acceleration.

your proublem sounds to be a poorly conected host , meaning not a good upload bandwith from ISP , and with a few peps conected taken up some/all of that bandwith you get some sound lag . try useing lower k usage codec: like the 7.2 or 9.3 and see if your lag issue goes away. if your already useing one pay someone to host for ya

Wellllllll.... as stated... same ISP without router, and everything is okay...
So that's somehow kills your solution ;)

then update your routers firmware ..... and dsl at 10 mgs thru what company ? i want to see a bandwith test on that, upload test at that ....
32 players x 16.4k = 524.8 k not including any bandwith used by a game your playing i dought your getting that kind of upload speeds ??? speads for most company are not the same in both directions

then update your routers firmware .....
Please, read my post:

Well... our ISP delivers what we pay for: 10/10 mbit. That's tested! ;)
