I was running an Asus a7v 333 with windows XP.
Used the audigy for game & mic
Used the on board for TS sounds

I now have Asus a8v still XP
Audigy 2 But I can't get my on board to work with the Audigy installed. When I pull out the Audigy on board works fine.

I also still have the Audigy but I can't seem to get the Audigy & Audigy 2 to work together.

I do have a SB live also, but I haven't tried that yet.

Any ideas so I can get back to splitting my game & TS sound would be great.

Thanks in advance for any help you can give me! :)

in ts select the card you want in the input / outputs from the settings tab / options , then in the games and stuff select the other card , this works in win 2000 pro , and should work in xp as well i would think

I did that with my old setup but I can't get both cards to work at once with my new computer.

i would think that with it could be done even with the new mobo it is most likely a combonation of OS sound propertys and ts setting needing to be set .does the onboard and the pci sloted sound card show up in the ts input/output list ?? have you tryed each setting with wave once , then direct sound

check the bios on new mobo to see if there is anything in their on the onboard being turned off ???

can you configure the ts with out the 2nd card in ? if so set it up then add the 2nd card , and see if it still works

even with new products there are new drivers to be found have you tryed looking for new drivers for your mother board and sound card i have a audigy 2zs so i have this url for ya ... use the software auto updater http://us.creative.com/support/ look for new drivers at the manufactors sites , befor you try an off brand or off location
