I got no reply to my last stupid question so hopefully if I reword it here someone will lend me a hand. My light goes green when I set it up for key press but, voice activation won't work. Also, people can't hear me either way. I've tried reinstalling direct x and the program several times. Only thing I haven't tried is removing the codecs. Another post in the forum game me a clue to this but, I'm afraid to touch them because well I don't know what I'm doing. The program and mic was working fine before. This all happened because I can't leave well enough alone and tried to set up a ts server on the same computer for me and my bro to use. It seemed like fun at the time but, now I've really done it. Can anyone help me out of this jam?

Well, have you gone into oyur control panel and made sure that the device used for voice recording was your mic? If you have a mic that plugs into your sound card, amke sure to select your sound card as the recording device. If you have a USB mic/headset, make sure to select it and not your sound card. If you have drivers for the mic, im sure it is USB. Check things like this, and also try other programs that record voice from an input (such as the one that comes with Windows) and see if they work. If not, then it is either a mic issue, or a simple settings issue.
