Help With Server!

I am trying to host a TS server through my local cable provider. It has some ridiculous lag and 95.7% packet loss??!! Is this just because of limited bandwidth? Anyone know of a good way to configure on a cable connection.


I have my ports forwarded etc...

WOW; if you have such a INCREDIBEL HIGH packetloss, you should check your network HW, SW (drivers,...) and e.g. check back with your ISP.

Usually the packet loss should be around let's say 1% or even lower (in the LAN I have usually 0.0x %)

Could someone help me out? I need to kno step by step how to host a server with my own bandwidth. Ive been lookin for hours and I hope someone could help me. I would appreciate it.
