I am running the latest version of tss. Setup went fine, i can connect thew the local ip (192.168.1.3) but not my exterior address. The server is only showing the local address and not the exterior address also. I have looked thew every faq on the routers and i had it setup the right way from the start but it still doesnt work. Here is what i get from my client:

(Connecting thew 192.168.1.3)

[17:14:27] Connecting to 192.168.1.3
[17:14:27] Connected to server TeamSpeak Server
[17:14:27] [Welcome to TeamSpeak, check www.teamspeak.org]

-------------------------------------------------------------
(Connecting 68.???.???.???)

[17:15:39] Connecting to 68.103.118.233
[17:15:39] Connected to server TeamSpeak Server
[17:15:39] [Welcome to TeamSpeak, check www.teamspeak.org]
[17:15:41] Connection timed out
-------------------------------------------------------------

So it looks as though it connects for 2 seconds, but i never see any of the rooms or myself showing up in the left hand side, nor do i see the server info on the right.

I have port 8767UDP forwarded to the servers local ip. Ive tried setting it as the DMZ host, no good.. I have DHCP disabled, nothing seems to work.

Any help would be greatly appriciated.

Most routers get confused when you do a loopback with the WAN ip. Some people call this a bug (or lack of proper functionality), others call it a feature of the router.

Not exactly sure what you mean by loopback, but i can get ftp, http, and a few other servers to work fine over this router, ive never had any problems with any type of server except teamspeak. So i cant do anything about it? Can you be more detailed?

When you try to connect to yourself it's called a loopback. Some routers will not allow you to connect to yourself using your WAN address. The packets are lost internally.

loopback address is 127.0.0.1 place this as your ip in the client as log as the server is loaded same pc , or the lan ip a 192.x.x.x or 10.x.x.x # to conect to a pc same lan

I have the same router. To get it to work I had to disable block wan request under filters and under view port range forwarding I have 8766-8768 for the ports. If you have any questions just PM me
